Welcome to Homeschool Northland! It’s hard to believe our first conference has come and gone. We hope that everyone in attendance was blessed, equipped, and encouraged. Thank You to all Speakers, Exhibitors, and Volunteers who were involved in making it happen!

Our Featured Speakers:

Keynote: Todd Wilson

TODD WILSON, is a dad, grand dad, writer, conference speaker, and former pastor. Todd’s humor and down to earth realness have made him a favorite speaker at homeschool conventions, retreats, and churches across the country.
As founder of Familyman Ministries and the Smiling Homeschooler, his passion and mission are to remind dads and moms of what’s most important through weekly e-mails, seminars, and books and products that encourage parents. Todd, and his wife Debbie, homeschool three of their eight children (five have graduated from their homeschool with four married) in northern Indiana and travel America in the Familyman Mobile. You can read more at familymanweb.com

Amy Buchmeyer, Esq.

A Wisconsin native, Amy was homeschooled K–12 along with her four younger siblings. She developed a passion for politics while involved in Generation Joshua in high school and eventually double majored in politics & government and criminal justice at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. Upon graduation, Amy returned to Wisconsin where she worked as a field director for Americans for Prosperity. She later received her JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as president of the Federalist Society and articles editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. Now, at HSLDA, Amy serves as the contact attorney for 13 states. Amy loves to travel, and, in addition to Wisconsin and Tennessee, has lived in Idaho, Colorado, England, Thailand, and now Virginia. When not at work, she can usually be found buried in a book (she averages over 300 a year), traveling, or making new friends.

When she’s not curating memories, hoarding vintage books, or playing ringmaster to a circus of her own making, Jamie can be found encouraging and equipping a growing tribe of mothers all across the globe on the Mom to Mom Podcast, through her blog The Unlikely Homeschool, at national conferences, and in her book Homeschool Bravely: How to Squash Doubt, Trust God, and Teach Your Child With Confidence.  theunlikelyhomeschool.com
